A focus timer should not be another app you have to manage.

Juno now includes Pomodoro-style focus and break cycles on top of your task timers. You can choose reminder modes and presets, see live phase countdowns, and keep the current Pomodoro visible while you work across desktop and mobile.

Pomodoro timers in Juno

Focus cycles inside your planning system

Pomodoro timers are built into the same place where your tasks already live.

When you start focusing on a task, Juno can help you move through structured work and break phases without switching to a separate timer app or losing the context of what you were trying to finish.

This update adds:

  • Pomodoro-style focus and break cycles inside Juno;
  • configurable reminder modes and presets;
  • live phase countdowns in the smart bar and Happening Now;
  • more reliable break reminders on mobile;
  • active Pomodoro visibility as a live timer on iOS and Android.

Structure when you want it

Some days need deep uninterrupted work. Others benefit from a little structure: work for a while, step away, come back, continue.

Juno's Pomodoro support is designed for that second case. It does not force a method onto every task. It gives you a built-in rhythm when a task needs boundaries.

Because it sits inside Juno, the timer stays connected to the task you are actually doing, not a generic countdown floating somewhere else.

Better reminders across surfaces

This release also improves the way focus reminders behave across the app and mobile surfaces.

Notification permission is requested at the right moment when focus reminders are activated or a focus timer starts. Pomodoro timer presentation is shared across app and mobile surfaces, so labels and countdowns stay consistent. Mobile live timers make the active session easier to keep track of when Juno is in the background.

The goal is simple: less timer management, more focused work.

If Pomodoro helps you stay with the thing you already chose, Juno now has it built in.
