Settings
Calendar settings
Manage connected calendars, per-calendar visibility, and write access.
2 min read
Open Settings -> Calendars.
Connect an account
- Click Connect next to Google or Outlook.
- Authorize Juno on the provider's screen.
- Pick which calendars from that account to display.
You can connect multiple accounts (e.g. work + personal Google).
Per-calendar options
For each calendar:
- Visible - show or hide events in the planning view (still synced).
- Color - distinguish work / personal at a glance.
- Default context or tag for time blocking - send work from a context or tag to a specific writable calendar.
- One-click importing as tasks - when enabled, Juno can add events from that calendar as tasks during planning.
- Cross-blocking - when enabled, copy busy events from one calendar to another so other people see you as unavailable.
- Notifications - when enabled, mute reminders, choose a sound, and pick advance reminder times per calendar.
Task blocks and manual events
Juno can keep task time blocks separate from regular calendar events.
- Default for task time blocks controls where Juno creates events when you drag a task onto the calendar or use Add to Calendar.
- Default for new events controls where Juno creates events when you drag an empty slot on the calendar.
- Juno Calendar is the private built-in calendar. Choose it when you want task planning to stay inside Juno instead of writing every block to Google or Outlook.
Display options
Calendar settings also control how planning appears:
- Show task projections displays soft task blocks before they become real events. See calendar-based planning.
- Show actual time blocks displays time you tracked on tasks.
- Calendar event coloring can use calendar colors or task context/tag colors for linked task events.
- Buffer between tasks adds padding around tasks and meetings.
- Enable task splitting lets larger tasks split across multiple available slots.
- Task splitting and buffer settings affect how projections and Add to Calendar place work around meetings.
For working hours and per-context availability, open Settings -> Contexts & Schedules.
Reauthorize
If events stop syncing, the access token may have expired:
- Open Settings -> Calendars.
- Click Reconnect next to the affected account.
- Complete the provider auth flow again.
Disconnect
Click the Disconnect action next to an account. Existing scheduled blocks remain on your calendar but Juno will stop creating new ones.
